Anthropic just revealed its true ambition. It is not just building a chatbot. It is building a global operating system. And with one move, it is aiming straight at a 6.4 trillion dollar empire controlled by Microsoft.
This week, Anthropic dropped a series of bombshell announcements that will reshape the tech world.
They are no longer just chasing artificial general intelligence. They are building Claude OS, an AI operating system that could replace everything we know about computing.
Anthropic made a series of bold moves, all pointing to one goal.
Embed Claude into every platform. Phones, browsers, documents, spreadsheets, and the command line. Turn Claude into a true AI operating system.
From now on, Claude is not just a chatbot. It is the layer between humans and all digital tools.

Right now, Anthropic has built a wall between itself and the competition. On the other side of that wall is the race to artificial super intelligence.
Recently, Anthropic announced several major updates. These are the most important AI product releases in history.
Today, Claude has penetrated every major platform and tool.
From now on, Claude can do almost anything.
Like OpenClaw, but for everyone, not just developers.
Any application, any document, any file, any tool. Claude can now access and control them all.
Claude has completed a giant leap in capability that no other AI has matched.
More importantly, you can now use Claude directly on your phone. You can control everything on your device. Last week, Anthropic launched 9 new features, gradually turning Claude into a fully autonomous AI assistant.

Currently, macOS users can already use Claude Cowork and Claude Code. These tools are still in early research preview.
In other words, Anthropic has directly targeted Microsoft and its 6.4 trillion dollar market value. When Claude reaches artificial super intelligence, it will be the iPhone moment for AI. It will be the Windows moment for AI.
This is a grand plan that OpenAI, Microsoft, and even Elon Musk never imagined.

Once Claude OS controls the platform layer, whether it is hardware or software, the traditional App Store model will be completely overturned.
Think about it. Every existing software business, every SaaS model, faces a giant existential threat.
When AI can directly control every tool on your computer, what happens to the old software empire?

For years, the AI war has been about the same thing. Who has the better model? Who has more data? Who has more users?
But Anthropic has already moved to the next battlefield. It is no longer about the model. It is about the operating system of the AI age.

In the past 40 years, Microsoft built Windows. Apple built macOS and iOS. Google built Android. These were the operating system wars of the past.
What these companies fought over was users, developers, and ecosystems. And now Anthropic is starting the same war, but with AI at the center.
Traditional operating systems like Windows, MacOS, and Linux are all passive. They wait for user input. They do not think. They do not act. They just execute commands.
But what Anthropic is building with Claude OS is completely different. It is an active operating system. It thinks. It learns. It acts.
Today, Claude has penetrated every corner of your digital life. Your phone, your browser, your documents, your spreadsheets, your code, your command line.
It is a learning system that knows everything and can do everything. Every email, every Excel formula, every line of code becomes training data. Every user interaction makes it smarter.
The more you use it, the more it learns about your work. The more apps it connects to, the more powerful it becomes. Claude never stops. It never sleeps. It just keeps learning.

The real danger is not just OpenClaw or the agent ecosystem. It is not just OpenAI or xAI or DeepMind. It is the fact that AI is becoming the operating system. And when AI becomes the OS, traditional software companies, IT companies, and even hardware companies face extinction.
To put it simply, Claude OS is turning every app into a command. It is turning the entire software industry into a conversation.
Claude Code Auto Mode: When AI Writes Code Without Humans
Just this week, Claude Code launched a new feature called auto mode.
In auto mode, Claude can act as a full software engineer. It writes code for every file, runs bash commands, and has full system permissions.

In the past, when using AI coding tools, you had to approve every line of code. Every file change needed confirmation. Every bash command needed approval.
Many developers stopped using these tools because it was too much work.
But Claude now has full permission control. It also has safety checks. For risky operations, it asks for confirmation. For safe operations, it executes automatically.
Today, the loop is fully closed. From now on, you can truly become a pure decision maker.
The popular idea of vibe coding, where developers just vibe with AI, has been turned into reality by Anthropic. They did not just talk about it. They built it.
Through a special method called Classifier, Claude automatically identifies which operations are safe and executes them. For high-risk operations, it stops and asks for guidance.
Currently, auto mode is available to Claude Team users in early preview. It will soon roll out to all enterprise and API users.
The Numbers: Why Anthropic Is Winning
On February 12, Anthropic announced a massive Series G funding round. They raised 30 billion dollars at a valuation of 380 billion dollars. Investors include GIC, Coatue, Microsoft, and British investors.
This is the second largest funding round in history, just behind OpenAI’s 40 billion dollar round.

According to leaked financial data, Anthropic’s annualized revenue has grown from 140 million dollars to 25 billion dollars. That is a 180 times increase in just one year.
With the launch of Claude Code, annualized revenue reached 25 billion dollars in just one month. At the same time, the enterprise customer base has completely changed.
The customer structure is also shifting. Among the top 10 enterprise customers, 8 are Claude customers. Each pays over 100 million dollars per year. There are 500 such customers. A year ago, there were only about a dozen customers paying over 10 million dollars.
Enterprise business now accounts for 80 percent of revenue. Almost any organization can now directly use the Enterprise version with higher security and compliance.

The market is voting with its money. And it is voting for Anthropic.
In 2025, Anthropic achieved 9 billion dollars in revenue. Almost all of it came from enterprise subscriptions.
In 2025, OpenAI had 20 billion dollars in revenue. But its daily active users were only 13 times those of Anthropic.

In other words, Anthropic’s enterprise market revenue per user is more than 5 times that of OpenAI.
Statistics show that Claude’s user activity ranks second globally, behind only ChatGPT. Far ahead of Gemini and others. Anthropic has once again proven its market position.

Currently, Anthropic has no image model or video model. Its market expansion relies entirely on text and user base.
But if Anthropic’s user base reaches the same level as OpenAI’s current users, and each user generates 25 percent more revenue per month, then in 4 years Anthropic could generate about 183 billion dollars in revenue.
To support enterprise security requirements, in January Anthropic announced a series of security certifications. These include HIPAA compliance for healthcare, financial security standards, and enterprise planning tools.
On February 13, they launched enterprise API security. Organizations can now control access, monitor usage, and manage data. These features are essential for procurement, legal, and compliance teams.
Anthropic also announced a 1 billion dollar investment in training, operations, and technical support.
On December 12, Anthropic launched the first professional certification program for Claude. These certified engineers will become the backbone of enterprise AI adoption.

This is a complete certification framework. It covers data security, model management, MCP protocols, Claude Code, and enterprise security modes. It provides professional training for about 3,000 specialists.
The key message is clear. Claude is going deep into enterprises.

Internal data shows that Anthropic’s own engineers use Claude for 60 percent of their work. A year ago, this number was only 28 percent.
Every week, 60 to 100 internal projects use Claude Cowork. When it reaches the boundary, all of them switch to Claude Code.

This is the enterprise flywheel. More users lead to more data. More data leads to better models. Better models lead to more enterprise adoption. The cycle repeats.
Claude Is Marching Toward ASI
At the recent AI conference in San Francisco, the message was clear. AGI has arrived.
Mark Gubrud, an AGI expert since 1997, also agrees. AGI is already here.
But more and more experts believe that AGI, or artificial general intelligence, has already been replaced by ASI, or artificial super intelligence.
He said that while all major tech companies are chasing ASI, many people have the wrong answer. Except Anthropic.
Right now, Anthropic is piecing together a series of moves that reveal a grand plan.
Claude can now see, listen, speak, and think. It can control your phone, your computer, and your data. It is embedded in every platform. It is learning and evolving in real time.
It is a self-learning, self-evolving system that becomes more capable with every interaction. It is a system that uses tools while learning how to use them better.
Claude is now infinitely close to ASI. Anthropic is building Claude OS as the first step toward ASI evolution.
Anthropic’s official statement for every release points to the same ultimate goal. Build an AI operating system that can control all devices, all software, and all data. An ASI OS.
This sounds crazy. It sounds impossible. But Claude has already turned every file system into a conversation. A true global OS is indeed just one step away.
Right now, there is only one company in the world that can do this. Before anyone else realizes what is happening, Anthropic has already built the foundation.
